Christmas 2011
Ok so I've decided, I'm officially the worst at this! With that being said, we just made it through the Christmas holidays and Kades first Christmas. Needless to say, it didn't go as planned. We were supposed to fly up to Atlanta to spend Christmas with my parents, grandparents, and Jim's mom. We even had my aunt and uncle driving 3 hours to come meet Kade. The trip never happened! There was a virus going around daycare and of course Kade got it right before we were supposed to leave! He was throwing up so much on Friday that we had to go yo the emergency room! So not only was Kade throwing up, Jim also got the virus and was throwing up too! There was no way we could fly out because things would just get worse! So as people woke up Christmas morning to family and presents, I woke up to none of the above and to Kade throwing up! Thankfully now he has recovered from it but I hate that that was his very first Christmas! Here are a few pics of our sickly weekend...

Been a Long time!!
Ok so let's just say that I am absolutely horrible at this whole blogging thing but I'm going to try this again! Last time I was here I was pregnant and we found out it was a boy. On May 9 2011 I gave birth to a 6 lb 13 oz baby boy named Kade Michael Gannon!!
Our lives completely changed that day, but definitely for the better! It's hard to believe that he is now 5 months old! It's amazing how fast babies grow and how quickly they learn new things! I've watched him learn to talk (well just babble, but a lot because he loves his voice), recognize Jim and I and our voices, and learn to sit up (supported now). We are attempting solids and let's just say that it is quite interesting!! It is too funny! It's crazy how much you can love someone!!
Also since I lasted posted, Jim and I bought a house!! We couldnt be happier about it! It's a 3 bedroom 2 bath house in west Boca Raton!! It's so nice to finally live in MY house! We have a backyard for Boogie, which I cant even begin to explain how nice that is! Decent backyards are rare in Boca!

Its been a while!
Ok so it has definitely been a while since I last wrote and a lot of stuff has happened! First and foremost, we found out that we are having a boy! His name is Kade Michael Gannon. The Michael part of his name is after my dad. We wanted to name him after my dad for all that he has done for us!

My parents came into town the beginnning of December and we went and had a 3D ultrasound to determine the sex of the baby at 16 weeks. Jim was ecstatic that it was a boy! He called it the whole time when all of us said a girl! Now, I am a little over 22 weeks pregnant and definitely feel a lot bigger now! I feel Kade kicking me a lot. Because he is so active it makes me a little nervous as to how he is going to be whenever he is brought into the world! If he is anything like Jim and I were, he is going to be a wild child and we definitely have our hands full! Over Christmas Kade got some really cute stuff! And some reallly cute Auburn Tigers gear!

You know that he has got to support the 2010 BCS National Champions!! He will definitely be an Auburn fan!! Jim would prefer him to be a GA bulldogs fan or a Texas A&M fan but he will be an Auburn fan!
We are in the process of buying a house now! Let me tell you, that is a headache and a half! Who knew that buying a home and seeing how much you can get pre-approved for so you know what you can afford is a scary scary process! But we have found a few homes we like and our realtor is great so hopefully we will find our first home soon! We definitely need to before Kade gets here because the stairs are already hard on me! We live in a 3 story town house now and going up all those flights of stairs daily make me very very exhausted! Plus I want to be settled in a home before Kade gets here and not after!
Other than all of that, nothing really else has been going on. Just working all the time, getting a bigger belly and Jim and I hanging out whenever we can. Hopefully it wont take too long before I get back on here and write again!
